01
Make a short, useful content plan.
Choose the business priority and list the projects, people and questions that can support it. Give each planned piece a main message and a purpose.
Keep some room for what is actually happening in the business. A plan should organise the work, not force a story that you do not have.
02
Collect the material before you need it.
For a project, think about the wider setting, the person doing the work and the detail that makes it worth showing. Record names and project facts while they are easy to confirm.
Keep permissions, approved files and captions organised. Do not rely on a photograph alone to establish who completed the work or what the result means.
03
Prepare the post for the person reading it.
Use a clear opening and a caption that adds useful context. Check the crop, spelling, claims and service details before publishing.
If a video includes speech, make sure people can understand it with captions. Keep important text clear of platform controls and check the format you are using.
04
Keep the conversation connected to the business.
Set aside time to read comments and questions. Use the business’s own voice and direct enquiries to the right contact or next step.
Repeated questions can suggest what your next piece of content should explain. Keep private customer details out of public replies and content.
05
Review and choose your level of support.
Look at which content is helping relevant people understand your business and which enquiries are a good fit. Use that to improve the next plan.
If you want assets to publish yourself, content creation or photography may suit you. If you need the planning, content and ongoing account support together, social media management is a different level of service.
